The easiest tip I can give, to regulate your oven temperature, is to hang an oven thermometer in your oven. No more guesswork!
Of course you can always pay a repairman to come out to your house and adjust your temperature control and charge you $100.00.
If you have an oven with a knob the adjustment is easy.
Hang an oven thermometer in the center of the oven, to get the temperature.
Remove the knob. There are markings on the back of the knob. To calibrate, turn to the right to adjust overheating or to the left to adjust under heating. There should be an indicator, in the knob, for the direction.
For example. The oven thermometer read 375°. Subtract 350° from 375°. This is a 25°overheating that needs to be adjusted by turning the knob right.
Digital ovens can be calibrated just as easily. A quick YouTube search, with the manufacturer and model number of your oven; will guide you where to make the adjustment. You can do this in less than a minute.
