| Buttermilk Bread |
I always make bread in the bread machine, except when I use the classic Autolyze Method for making bread dough. A quality bread machine is absolutely perfect for mixing and proofing doughs that you plan to shape and bake in your regular oven—like cinnamon rolls, crescent rolls, and holiday dinner rolls. The bread machine is built specifically to knead tough dough. In fact, it handles thick bread dough much better than a standard KitchenAid stand mixer! If you bake often, I highly recommend purchasing a dedicated bread machine just to handle your heavy kneading cycles.
