I wanted to share this, better than the restaurant quality, guacamole recipe. It's a must have, when making Mexican dinners.
It uses everyday ingredients: cilantro, onion, tomatoes. The same ingredients you would use in Pico De Gallo.
TO STORE: You will need a food safe container, with a lid. Spoon guacamole into the container. Place plastic wrap, sitting directly on guacamole. Place the lid on container. Refrigerate.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Ripe avocados, chopped
1/4 Cup red onion, diced
1 Jalapeno, minced
3 Tablespoons cilantro, chopped
1 lime, juiced
1/2 Teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium sized mixing bowl, lightly mash avocados, using a fork. Stir remaining ingredients, into the mashed avocados. Serve immediately.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Dip
Spread
Topping
This healthy and delicious guacamole takes just 10 minutes to make and yields 4 servings. Each serving provides approximately 165 calories, 15 grams of fat, and 7 grams of fiber.
