You don't need a special gadget, the separate eggs. Just use your hands! It's the most gentle way to handle eggs. It does't cost anything. It doesn't take up valuable space in your utensil drawer.

Start with two bowls. One for the egg white, and another for the egg yolk.

Crack, then pour, the whole egg into a bowl.

Scoop the egg yolk out, using your hands.

Gently separate your fingers, to allow the egg white to fall into the bowl.

Transfer the yolk to the second bowl.
